Q&A
Minting Time: How Long Does It Take?
Minting is usually completed within a few hours.
In some cases, it may take up to 72 hours.
This is an automatic blockchain process and cannot be manually accelerated.
Can I Cancel a Mint Request?
No. Once a mint request is submitted, the process is irreversible and cannot be stopped.
If you selected the wrong chain, don’t worry—Freename plans to add an option in the future to change the chain if you want to.
What Is Wallet Custody?
Wallet Custody allows you to mint your Web3 TLDs and Web3 Domains without installing anything on your device.
Important notes:
- Private keys are not stored here
- Wallet Custody is supported only on Polygon and Base
Can I Transfer Between Wallet Custody and My Personal Wallet?
Yes. From the management page of your Web3 TLD or Web3 Domain, you can transfer it at any time to a different wallet (including moving to/from Wallet Custody).
How to Filter for Not Minted Web3 Assets
- Go to: https://freename.com/dashboard/user/portfolio/
- In Web3 Domains or Web3 TLDs, click Status
- Select Not Minted
This will show only items that have not been minted yet.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Which blockchains can I mint on?
Polygon, Base, Solana, Etherlink, Chiliz, Abstract, BSC, and Aurora.
Can I mint multiple domains at once?
Yes. Select multiple items, then use Actions → Mint.
Why does minting sometimes take up to 72 hours?
Blockchain transactions and confirmations can take longer depending on network conditions. The process is automatic and can’t be sped up manually.

How can I quickly find assets that are not minted yet?
Use Status → Not Minted filters in the portfolio page under Web3 Domains or Web3 TLDs.
